Thesis Title: Literature and the Iran-Iraq War: Performative Masculinities in Persian and Arabic Fiction

Co-Organiser of Arab Women Writers in Diaspora Workshop being held at the University of Manchester on 10th December 2009

The Inconstant Lover: Images of Masculinity in War and Diaspora in Betool Khedairi’s A Sky so Close (Kam badat al-sama’ qaribah!!) to be presented at Arab Women Writers in Diaspora Workshop at Manchester University.
