TRAINING | 2-day Workshop/Seminar: Essential e-Learning Skills for Arabic/Foreign Language Teachers

CASAW will be running a 2-day intensive CPD course in essential eLearning for foreign language teachers.

Aims of the Course:

Over the last 3 years, CASAW has developed an innovative Arabic programme blending traditional teaching with eLearning technologies.  This course demonstrates how fellow langauge teachers can integrated and use technology effectively to enhance teaching practice.

  • The 2-day training programme will be delivered using a blended style of combining theory-based seminars with hands-on practical workshops.
  • It is aimed at teachers with an interest in, but little experience, of technology-enhanced language education.
  • The training will equip participants with essential ideas, practices and tools required for language teaching.
  • It will build participants’ confidence, knowledge and creativity to inspire teachers to use technology to their advantage.
  • The programme will be provided in short ‘bite-sized’ chunks to maximize time.

Applications & Registration

Applications will be received from teachers of Arabic and/or other foreign languages interested in integrating technology into their teaching practice. Applicants should register here.

Confirmed participants will be asked to complete pre-workshop activities. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the training.
